No link but I watched a CNN piece on Trump's thing where he has clothing manufactured overseas. One point was that he moved the operation from Honduras, where the workers made something like $1.30 per hour, to Bangladesh, where the workers make something like $0.30 per hour. So they asked the Trump campaign about that and he did that standard bull shit where he said it's because China is manipulating its currency so he has to do that to compete. Then they said the problem is that saying that the China manipulating its currency argument is completely false, etc. etc.

Has nothing to do with it. Trump just does it because it means a bigger profit. I'm not saying he shouldn't be free to do it. But he is SUCH a lying sack of shit.

Yet I repeatedly heard republican primary voters say that they wanted to vote for Trump because he was funding his own campaign and could therefore be his own man. I thought that was stupid anyway. You say you're upset because the rich and powerful give money to politicians to buy influence. You don't want them to exercise power and influence through "buying" politicians.

So now you're going to just vote for one of those rich and powerful influence purchasers directly to office? That makes absolutely no sense.

It's like Harry Reid is going to vote for one of the Koch brothers because instead of giving money to get people elected they just run themselves while funding their own campaign.
