I guess I am. If he's tying Christianity to Paganism, fine, but that doesn't take away from the fact that there are so few "pagans" today, I'd have to believe that anyone in a school who claimed to be a pagan is only doing so because they think it's cool and it's just a phase. Kinda like furries.
Very few people claim to be Pagan today...
or even understand that "Pagan" simply means to believe OTHER than a strictly defined world religion
in other words maintaining a "non-conformist" belief system
To be Pagan by definition - doesn't require following anything - kinda like "not collecting stamps"
I would argue: In America
There are more pagans who claim to be christian than most people would believe
A HUGE percentage of claimed America Christians only call themselves that because they follow the Christian holiday system (in other words the Modern Calendar)
But if you ask these "Christians" do you think Jesus walked on water and performed all the miracles they will tell you - probably not really and don't even actually care
So by strict definition THEY ARE NOT Christian
And yes they follow the modern Christian Calendar
But are closer to a Pagan than a Christian
There's more - stick with me....
