We had an epic run on the SWAC board till we got banned. Never laughed so hard in my life.

Received several serious death threats from those assholes. They included flight plans, accommodations for their hit men and the address where my wife worked.

Violent, racist fucks.

Told em to come on up and I'd be ready for em.

It's funny cuz it's funny.

We're brilliant humorists and satirists.

You envy us and revere us as modern day Mark Twains.

You're book smart but rarely funny. Keep trying.

MPLS is still giving it his all on AGS. Same old thing too. Good to know some things don't change.
I flogged him like a medieval bishop in a gun thread several months ago and then he dropped out of sight for a while. But yeah he's back to his old tricks over there.

I'm trying to remember the name of that annoying NDSU chick over there
DarlinNikki, or something like that.

I doubt you see her on the AGS poli board for a while.

You guys should've been around when Opie had his little stint here. That would've been epic.

I'm actually very funny but not in a way that would get appreciated here.

You go for the shock humor, which is funny, but particularly appealing to the dumb-downed audience here.

My style of humor is more cerebral. It makes reference to characters in books you haven't read and historical persons you don't know. It employs words you don't know. I'm more subtle than you, and subtle humor goes unappreciated among the unwashed masses.

You have to use smilies.

And I figured you knew who I was talking about. That was just the first, random historical person to come into mind.

I said I was subtle. ;)

It's a fair point, though, that subtle humor doesn't work well on a message board.

Written humor isn't my strong point. Subtle humor depends a lot of face gestures, motions, inflections, etc. It is spoken humor. If you actually heard and saw me speak my first post about F'ing smart I am, and then saw me say, "Who" in response to your post, you would think it was pretty funny.

The other thing for which I don't get enough appreciation around here is my brilliance as the straight man. Every comedy teams needs a gifted straight man. The straight man has to see the joke coming, and then set up the exchange so that the other comic can deliver the line.

There was this time in Peoria when ... :coffee:
