I don't feel sorry for anybody in this country - Rich or Poor
The poor have it pretty good in the USA
The Rich are getting richer by the hour
everybody should be thrilled

How does that compare to their income? Believe me I want them carrying less of the burden as that would indicate a strengthening middle class. Please show me where supply side economics and a deregulated financial sector has led to a stronger middle class. This the bed they have bought and paid and for. I do not feel sorry for their tax burden. Sorry.
Well then you REALLY shouldn't feel sorry for the 47% that have NO tax burden. Or those that actually get more BACK than they paid in in the first place.
And I don't. I simply want their wages to go up so that they DO pay taxes and buy more of my product. You should want the same.

Actually, the application of "supply-side" economic theory led to the introduction of the middle class in the 1920's. :suspicious:

I'm guessing unions may have helped a little too. What happened to the middle class in the 30's?

I'm sure unions played their small part. To answer your question: The middle class was devastated by the Federal Reserves capital crushing monetary policy in the 1930's.

Our embassies are under attack, the economy still sucks and Obama is gaining in the polls. Romney is running one of the worst campaigns ever. Maybe it's a Massachusetts thing!?
Precisely. Romney is just a bad candidate with an even worse campaign staff.
