I admit when I'm wrong, but only when I'm wrong. If you would stick to the subjects at hand, and educate me, as opposed to sticking to your routine ad hominem attack, perhaps I would learn something. Really, you're just squirming, and whenever we squeeze an answer out of you, it really isn't logically moving.

Go read your discussion about why people believe God exists, and then ponder why I don't take you seriously. :ugeek:

and to the thread, it confuses post hac ergo propter fallacies with true causation. Sure, it's trying to make a point but let's take the example a step farther.

I got arrested for Tax evasion because I didn't pay my taxes. By this logic, there is no correlation with the result and the action. We know for a fact that there is correlation

Other examples: I stopped smoking and my health improved. No correlation.
I floored the accelerator and went really fast in my car. No correlation.
Sun went down, it got dark. No correlation (or as Bill O'Reilly would say "You can't explain that!")
The list goes on.

But to add to the thread, I'd wager that Car production is the cause of the devaluation of the dollar since 1913, while we're at it.

Maybe this explains the horrible reduction in pirates recently:
