Natural idiots were in short supply, but we're creating more of you every day....you telling me those don't count? 8-) 8-) 8-)

Nice, personal attack. :thumb: At least you're smart enought not to touch this one.

If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... I think it's hilarious that you have to differentiate between "natural forests" and ones that were replanted. Are the trees somehow "different" because they haven't been around since the dawn of time?

Nowhere in the highlighted and underlined passage did I say natural forests were being planted. A forest of trees whether natural or planted by man is still a forest of trees. :dunce:

Man made forests are sterile compared to natural ecosystems. Baldy :dunce: , you have to get your speaking points from sources other than the timber and red meat industries.

The most important forests are the rain forests of South America. At current deforestation rates, they'll be completely gone in less than 100 years. They're cleared for redmeat production and are not reforested.

Huh? Now you're reaching - I had a perfectly healthy childhood, thank you very much, and really, are you trying to mock people who for whatever reason had unhealthy childhoods? Do you go to March of Dimes events and laugh at the sickly kids? :ohno:

I'd love to see Baldy go to the slums of New Dehli (or anywhere else on the attached map), and tell the people there that there's no shortage of fresh water. Come on, man. Stop getting yor science from Limbaugh and the EIB network, and talk to a scientist. jeez.

I truly believe the next wars (especially in the Middle East) will be fought over water.

Off topic here yet somewhat related, but one thing the United States has going for it is that we're the world's top exporter of virtual water. Having something as precious as virtual water will keep the United States as a top dog in the world stage regardless of what happens in the next century. The leverage this natural resource gives us in a world where water demand keeps growing will probably be our greatest asset in the future; this is really no joke of a natural resource to be the highest exporter of heading into the future. For example, China heavily relies on the U.S. and Canada for virtual water, and with water being the most precious thing needed for life, it's good to have that power. If everything I've read is correct, it'll eventually be more important than oil.
