LOL - it's called market forces. Every state around has opened casinos - AC is a pit, so no one wants to venture there to gamble when they can do it in nicer spots.

This. My mother in law was telling me about her first job on the AC boardwalk. The casinos were big business and money was good. As other states began opening casinos, those in AC began feeling the strain. It was a matter of time.
