If Trump had been around to pull out of NATO like he kept talking about doing, Putin would have pulled of the greatest political power play in history. It was a beautiful plan except that it forgot to account for Trump losing his attempt at re-election by a landslide. So close, but.....no cigar.....and now?........a quarter million troops dead, the Russian Army exposed - as little more than a disorganized mob constituted of convicted criminals and conscripts that couldn't join the brain drain quickly enough - and suitable only for combat against unarmed civilians, morale in the toilet all the way up to the Kremlin where everybody knows that the Blame Game is on, and that whatever else happens others will be sacrificed for Putin's colossal miscalculation before Putin receives his just desserts ....and Russia unable to prosecute Putin's Blunder much further without becoming a lap dog for the Chinese..........tick tock.....

No. Look at what just happened. Zelensky was told if he did what the West told him to do, he'd get into NATO. The West just shit on Zelensky and denied Ukraine entry to NATO. He did everything he was asked, and it only cost him countless lives and his country.
