I absolutely approve of the companies 1st amendment right to do or not to do business with certain groups.

I also approve of customers rights to do or not to do business with certain companies that conflicts with the customers' beliefs. What is wrong with that?

Would you patronize a place that took a social/political stance that was against what you believed in, if you had other choices?
Oh so you do approve of Delta. Interesting. Your posts suggest otherwise. :coffee:

I'm sure I do. Then again - I don't give a shit what a company believes as long as they sell a quality product at a reasonable price. I have more things to worry about than what some CEO or Board of Directors thinks about guns, gays, immigration, etc....

Nice - Georgia is going to royally screw themselves and 33,000 families. :ohno: :ohno:

Talk about knee-jerk reactions. Why can't Republicans accept that a business can and should do what it wants?

Oh yea...that's right- they are hypocrites.
How is Georgia going to screw 33,000 families?

The only thing that tax break does is save Delta millions on jet fuel sales taxes. It is a very specific perk in a piece of legislation only aimed at and it's a perk that can only be used by Delta.

It is a knee-jerk reaction. There is no doubt about that. However, it isn't hypocritical. Delta has every right to do what it wishes, but consumers, etc. can do whatever they wish as well in response. It's one of the core principles of a free market system.

If you could map which stores say “my pleasure” as opposed to “you’re welcome” and link sales to those respective stores and give me a comparison by 9:30am tomorrow, I’d really appreciate it.

And make sure BDK hasn’t already done that study, or else he might link you!

I said the same thing last night when I heard. I told my wife hes going to kill himself in days, if he hasn't already.

That is if none of those parents don't get to him first.

Personally, I'd rush in without a gun, regardless of my personal safety.

If you could crosswalk that with average drive-through wait times, that'd be great.

Maybe he should grab THE ROCK - he always manages to defeat armies of bad guys with just a hand-gun, and his bad ass moves.

I was going for the long game - screwing Delta until they pull out of Atlanta. It was a hyperbolic.

BUt still - you're going to deny a tax credit until a company establishes a relationship with a lobby group? :dunce: :dunce:

You know as good as I that Delta isn't going anywhere. Not over a measly $50M.
That's another bad Casey Cagle idea. He's an idiot, but why wouldn't a state have the right to deny a tax break to a corporation as a sign of protest...no matter how stupid?
