Agreed. Heck, this just helps Trump further - if they never get to him, or even get to someone close to him, on something truly related to Russian collusion, then the masses who voted for him the first time will be even more in his corner this time around, seeing this as a long drawn out investigation, with its roots beginning even before Trump took office, and never really amounting to anything they were to be investigating for in the first place. This not being over, or even close to over, does not help the anti-Trumps at all. We're 2-3 years since the supposed Russian collusion was happening - let's start hearing about the evidence about that.
How long did Ken Starr investigate? Certainly payback has to be on the minds of the donks.

I've never said this will lead to a conviction of Trump.

DOJ policy is that a sitting president can't be indicted. Mueller/Rosenstein aren't going to go against that (despite the portrait Trump paints of them on his Twitter feed). They're by-the-book guys. Trump could be impeached if Democrats take the House - but, he'll never be convicted by the Senate.

Trump is implicated in the hush money payments Cohen made on behalf of Trump if he knew about them. And, you know as well as I do he probably did. Just what evidence there is - Cohen tapes, documents, testimony.

As to Russia - we'll see. There were a whole host of unindicted Americans in the indictment of the Russian GRU agents. Roger Stone is who is probably puckering his butthole the tightest. There are many threads to tug on. Long way to go.
no "probably" about it. Its right there on the tape Cohen made of Trump. :coffee:

None, but I'm a far-left liberal so my views aren't typical of the average Dem; I'm not the type of voter the GOP should try to woo. But more moderate ones could have easily voted for Kasich or Bush.

Those 2 would have accomplished 0. I truly am beginning to believe most Dems are far left, which will someday turn us into Venezuela.

Love the way the indictments show that the whole GRU building was being watched by us or an ally right there on their security cameras and which desk Guccifer 2.0 sits at. I bet the GRU is taking that building apart brick by brick

Their God-king can do no wrong. And the GOP won't do anything.

As long as they're #winning, they'll continue living in their fantasy world.
It is tax evasion, not collusion he was convicted of. Let me put it this way, I would be more shocked if somebody wasn't found guilty of tax evasion in DC and Congress then if they were. I expect most of Congress and any people in an administration to be somewhat crooked, it is politics after all. Honest people don't tend to survive in that climate very long, much less get elected. Just small a bunch of small potatoes that were easily dug up.
Don't be such a wet blanket, there is a lot more to come, you just gotta learn to relax and enjoy it. :coffee:

And yes, that includes ANYONE that doesn't think Trump should be impeached.

What has been proven that is impeachable. Also, even if he is impeached, Pence will continue his work.

And what impeachable offense would that be? Breaking campaign finance rules? :?
Obomba's campaign broke the rules, paid a nearly $400k fine and moved along as if nothing happened. Why would this be any different?

Oh, and I like how you took a script from hildogs "deplorables" line and lump anyone not towing the leftist line into the Trump camp. In case you missed it, that's one of the reasons for "why Trump".

So Manafort gets nailed for something the Feds should have prosecuted him for 10+ years ago.

Cohen accepts a plea deal on non-related Russia stuff.

FEC rules are different from federal campaign finance law.

For one you get indicted on federal charges by DOJ. For the other you get fined by the FEC. Slight difference.

Trump's campaign broke FEC rules, was fined $1.3 million and moved on like nothing happened.

I can’t wait for THAT debate... “ it’s all over!”

Well, we have been having a pretty similar debate for well over a year now - while you have argued that Mueller ruled out coordination a week or two into his appointment.

If Mueller isn't fired... It has a pretty clear finish line - when he closes up shop. :thumb:

Cohen's lawyer:
Mr. Cohen has knowledge on certain subjects that should be of interest to the special counsel and is more than happy to tell the special counsel all that he knows.

Not just about the obvious possibility of a conspiracy to collude and corrupt the American democracy system in the 2016 election, which the Trump Tower meeting was all about, but also knowledge about the computer crime of hacking and whether or not Mr. Trump knew ahead of time about that crime and even cheered it on.

Good point. Manaforts pardon.

I'm sure twitter will be awash with adjectives from POTUS, besmirching Michael Cohen as soon as Trumps rally is complete.

Actually...I'd bet you a CCU hat that he will say something bad about Cohen DURING the Rally. :coffee:

At what point can Trump get nailed for breaking the campaign finance laws with regard to Stormy Daniels? This seems like and easy "if - then" scenario but not sure if it is from a legal standpoint. Wouldn't it be hard to prove that it was to protect the "campaign"? Couldn't Trump just say it was to protect his marriage? Or to protect someone else, like a person who set up the encounter? Unless they have Trump on tape saying it was to protect the campaign, it seems like he could wiggle out of this.
This is the best article I’ve seen to date on this particular topic, as well as Mueller’s sham investigation as a whole. Written by Democrat Mark Penn, adviser to Bill Clinton during his impeachment:

Sounds like Trump has no real worries once all the dust and MSM theatrics settle.
