Of course. Your Great White Buffalo that will never exist. The perfect UNI candidate.

Juiced the economy. Bitch please. He had to deal with the Obama sluggishness and fixed that immediately. I thought you read a lot. Know stuff.
My apologies for wanting a candidate with integrity who can actually lead. Go ahead and blame me for having standards and not accepting trump's shortcomings.

I have a pretty good understanding of economics. trump inherited an improving economy that was ready to take off. I'll give him credit that his policies helped it take off and IMO do better than it would have under Hillary. He lost me when he fvcked everything up with COVID and beyond. January 6 and the fraudulent electors were the icing on the cake of his being unfit for office.
Yes I blame you, you crybaby bitch.

Start voting for the least of evils Mr Libertarian every debauchery goes.

Answer the question.
Look it up. Fuel prices is a big factor.
Well then…thank god our ally’s in SA and Russia are cutting production.

He hasn't pulled a fast one on me. I agree that he doesn't give 2 Schmidts about anything.

trump has pulled a fast one on you if you really believe that he "actually cares about the USA". As I said, the only think he cares about is himself.

2 Schmidts?

Me neither. He’s been a centrist - run of the mill corporatist his whole career. He’s done a few good things but no real surprises. Unsurprisingly similar to Obama.

Quotes from my hero Thomas Sowell who has a way of expressing the truth with great clarity

That people on the political left have a certain set of opinions, just as people do in other parts of the ideological spectrum, is not surprising. What is surprising, however, is how often the opinions of those on the left are accompanied by hostility and even hatred.

Sowell

Anyone who studies the history of ideas should notice how much more often people on the political left, more so than others, denigrate and demonize those who disagree with them — instead of answering their arguments.

Maybe Sowell should listen to an FDR speech or two. I’d like ask him whose ‘hatred he was welcoming’?

In a sense, the political left’s attempts to silence ideas they cannot, or will not, debate are a confession of intellectual bankruptcy.

Like gay/trans rights? Books about sharing? Civil rights heroes? Atheism?

Whose hatred was FDR welcoming?

Or trying to defund the DoJ to silence investigations of their messiah? Just another confession of intellectual dishonesty.

The most fundamental fact about the ideas of the political left is that they do not work. Therefore we should not be surprised to find the left concentrated in institutions where ideas do not have to work in order to survive.

When you quote somebody you're supposed to attribute the quote to where it came from. :coffee:

It’s obvious who I’m quoting …. Say his name lefty

The whole political vision of the left, including socialism and communism, has failed by virtually every empirical test, in countries all around the world. But this has only led leftist intellectuals to evade and denigrate empirical evidence

This seems like a timely read for you.
In his new book, Technofeudalism, the maverick Greek economist says we are witnessing an epochal shift. At his island home of Aegina, he argues it’s no longer the global finance system that shapes us, but the ‘fiefdoms’ of tech firms……………………..

It’s a big-picture hypothesis rooted in a historical account of how capitalism came into being that describes what is happening in terms of an epochal, once-in-a-millennium shift. In some ways, it’s a relief to have a politician – any politician – talking about this stuff. Because in Varoufakis’s telling, this isn’t just new technology. This is the world grappling with an entirely new economic system and therefore political power.

“Imagine the following scene straight out of the science fiction storybook,” he writes. “You are beamed into a town full of people going about their business, trading in gadgets, clothes, shoes, books, songs, games and movies. At first everything looks normal. Until you begin to notice something odd. It turns out all the shops, indeed every building, belongs to a chap called Jeff. What’s more, everyone walks down different streets, and sees different stores because everything is intermediated by his algorithm… an algorithm that dances to Jeff’s tune.”

It might look like a market, but Varoufakis says it’s anything but. Jeff (Bezos, the owner of Amazon) doesn’t produce capital, he argues. He charges rent. Which isn’t capitalism, it’s feudalism. And us? We’re the serfs. “Cloud serfs”, so lacking in class consciousness that we don’t even realise that the tweeting and posting that we’re doing is actually building value in these companies.

Fascism is historically a right wing movement. So is monarchism and feudalism.

“Yet the political left has long had a remarkable lack of interest in how wealth is created. As far as they are concerned, wealth exists somehow and the only interesting question is how to redistribute it.”

Let the cooks (parents and teachers) cook and get the fingers of the politicians and government bureaucrats out of the pot. I trust parents and teachers significantly more than I trust politicians and government bureaucrats.

Ok but aren’t teachers telling parents they should stay out of it? Or is this just Fox trolling conservatives?

Its the minivan taliban being fascist idiots.

It should be a partnership between parents and teachers. Teachers should not be ignoring or disrespecting parental concerns just like parents should not be dictating to teachers what and how they should teach or forcing their morals on an entire school.
