What difference does it make? Obama as the Executive will ignore or not enforce.

Re: Saudis threaten repercussions for US bill
So when will the first lawsuit occur from some of the "collateral damage" from Obama's drone attacks?
You do realize that this opens the US to lawsuits from foreign citizens as well, right?

We might get in trouble for our careless oversight that allows government money flow to organizations that intentionally target Saudi civilians for killing.DSUrocks07 wrote:So when will the first lawsuit occur from some of the "collateral damage" from Obama's drone attacks?

Oh, wait, there aren't any such organizations in the US...
Chizz is right, though. Saudi is one of the good terra states, much like Pakistan who gave Bin Laden a luxury compound near a military base for years.

"The President spoke by phone to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Reid this week to urge them to sustain his veto. In a follow up letter Tuesday, Obama said he was "firmly committed" to assisting the 9/11 families but that JASTA was the wrong approach.
"Enacting JASTA into law ... would neither protect Americans from terrorists attacks nor improve the effectiveness of our response to such attacks. Doing so would instead threaten to erode sovereign principles that protect the United States, including our U.S. Armed Forces and other officials, overseas," Obama wrote. "That is why I vetoed the bill and why I believe you should vote to sustain the veto."
CIA Director John Brennan said Wednesday that "all the national security officials of this government recognize how bad this legislation is for our national security interests and how negatively it's going to effect it."
Obomba doesn't get it...what a dumb cvnt.
Sovereign principles?
How far from reality can a person be?
Obomba: I want to bomb anyone and everyone without anyone else's permission. This law will hold me accountable. I won't win another Nobel Peace Prize.
Hey, kkklean...Obomba is just another Black man who wants to sucker punch people and not be held accountable for it.

Will it tie their hands a bit? Sure.
But, that is a good thing. We've been killing civilians far too easily...and making enemies out of ordinary families.
And yes, we're going to be sued...and we will not pay those lawsuits.
Well, except if someone captures our sailors. Then we'll pay, in cash, at night...but we'll say it isn't a ransom.

What country will divulge its secret assassinations and take responsibility for its actions?
However, years down the road, when more secret info about some operation/s is leaked (and info will be leaked about random operations in the future), it will be fun watching governments squirm as the legal system brings things to the press and lawyers look to put a dollar amount on victim's heads.
Also, remember that murder doesn't have a statute of limitations...and some folks will eventually talk if they are paid witnesses or on their deathbeds.
Oh, and someday in the future, a powerless United Nations will pass a resolution that the US violated some war crimes act and owes reparations to a village somewhere in Jabbip.

2) Saudi Arabia is the leader of the Arabic World - their actions are closely followed

When Iran got pissed and stopped transacting OIL in U.S. dollars it hurt badly
If EVERY Arabic Nation follows Saudi Arabia if they stop PETROL DOLLARS we're FUCKED
Note:
Crude Oil is transacted in U.S. dollars because of the Nixon deal in 1971
This causes every oil dependent nation on Earth to stockpile U.S. currency
Some estimates say:
60% of all currency reserves across the globe are held in U.S. dollars
Why:
Because you can't transact OIL in any other currency
This ^ is an astonishing VALUE bump for the U.S. Dollar
Pissing off Saudi Arabia could unravel the entire currency charade
and we'd eventually have a C+ graded standard high debtors currency value

That's what they'll call it...a fear based scare job of an economy collapsing due to the frantic trading of useless oil petrol dollars.
Chizzy is going espandos on us.
And NONE of it is true.
Oh sure, the few facts provided are true: oil is traded in US dollars and lots of countries hold our dollars. But if the world starts trading oil in other financial instruments, the world economy won't collapse...the US economy will not collapse more than it already has...and the world will keep going.
Did going off the gold standard kill every living thing on the planet? No.
Will going away from trading oil in US dollars cause the world to collide into the sun? No.
Will it cause some heartburn for a few large traders? You betcha. They want control and would prefer a slower death of the US dollar's use. Will the Chinese and everyone else try to move in and create a different world currency to get everyone off the US Dollar? Yup....but they already are.
Starting in 2 days, the yuan will be added to the IMF's official currencies...and it will be weighted 3rd of the 5...an impressive nod to China's growing economy. Of course, the weights of the euro, yen, and pound will be lessened in order to make way for the yuan.
The horror!
Furthermore, China, the UN, and the IMF are pushing SDRs, an IMF construct of the 5 reserve currencies (no, the average Joe or trading company can't hold the instrument right now, but that is only temporary), to eventually take over the world's reserve currency. After that, a consolidation of the world's currencies will eventually be pushed, but only when the small percent of uber wealthy people that control the largest amount of the current trading of currencies have figured out a way to squeeze out even more profits from the consolidation.
So Chizz is well behind the times. Apparently, he is listening to some well healed folks who are betting on the US dollar.

Yet, you confirmed everything I said
and then basically said - but - it won't happen
Instead of "untrue" please simply state that you disagree
Facts:
Only Iran trades Oil in NON U.S. dollars
Fact:
all other Industrial nations on Earth trade OIL in U.S. Dollars
Fact:
Global Financial Reserves are overwhelmingly in U.S. dollars (Why..?)
Fact:
Oil being traded in U.S. dollars creates immense demand for U.S. dollars (Demand sets value)
Fact:
$5.3 trillion U.S. dollars are traded a day on OIL
This averages out to be $220 billion per hour
You can come to whatever conclusion you want
But those are ^ the Facts

Obama is at least right about the fact that this bill takes a shot at sovereign immunity and there will almost certainly be unintended consequences
How severe they will be would be up for debate but one thing is for sure- nobody's going to go after Tanzania or Haiti - it's the countries that will decide that settlement is cheaper than fighting things in court
We also don't allow our soldiers to be hauled in front of foreign courts (Italy and Spain both tried) for similar reasons.

Chizzy is going espandos on us.
And NONE of it is true.
Oh sure, the few facts provided are true: oil is traded in US dollars and lots of countries hold our dollars. But if the world starts trading oil in other financial instruments, the world economy won't collapse...the US economy will not collapse more than it already has...and the world will keep going.![]()
Yup....but they already are.![]()
Starting in 2 days, the yuan will be added to the IMF's official currencies...and it will be weighted 3rd of the 5...an impressive nod to China's growing economy. Of course, the weights of the euro, yen, and pound will be lessened in order to make way for the yuan.
The horror!![]()

Furthermore, China, the UN, and the IMF are pushing SDRs, an IMF construct of the 5 reserve currencies (no, the average Joe or trading company can't hold the instrument right now, but that is only temporary), to eventually take over the world's reserve currency. After that, a consolidation of the world's currencies will eventually be pushed, but only when the small percent of uber wealthy people that control the largest amount of the current trading of currencies have figured out a way to squeeze out even more profits from the consolidation.![]()
Your facts are only recent facts. The fact that the wealthy use fear and lies to control others is an all time fact.
The world's economy won't collapse if oil is traded in other currencies. FACT. Only the money changers will lose out...and only the dumber ones.

Saudi Arabia is out for Saudi Arabia. They DO export their wonderful brand of Islam...of that there is no doubt.
They are ruled by a family...not a democracy. They shit on human rights. They look down upon others, including the US. We are a useful tool to them...that is all. We share few values...except greed.
Fvck them.
Let them rot in the stew they made.
