We're going to praise Kansas for creating "more jobs"
alright - that sounds nice

We then give the success of job generation = Accomplished by cutting taxes

All good so far...
The state of Kansas has now successfully generated less revenue
Due to tax cuts - obviously any idiot would know that
The net result of a tax cut is lower generated revenue

And ye t the state made ZERO adjustments in its budget
and did NOT account for the exciting new tax cuts
and is coming up short (far more shot that I suggested prior to a little investigation)

Classic buffoonery...
The Republican rube goldberg machine of business
where now somebody else will be forced to pay for the Kansas dramatic shortfall in revenue

And who is it - that that pays for - the Kansas blunder
Answer: Not the billionaires who got the Tax Cut

$600 Million and counting in shortfalls
Projected to be over a Billion

My bet:

The people who are paying for the rich people's tax cuts will be the same people who will be paying for the poor people's minimum wage increases.

There are too many posts to address them all but I'll give you a quick run down of what Utah does since they were mentioned in one of the articles.

1) Utah is about as red of a state as there is.
2) Utah has a balanced budget.
3) Utah has a very low unemployment rate, 3.6%.
4) High Tech is continuing to come to Utah, they get "incentives" .
5) Utah's economy is growing faster then almost anywhere else, 2.6% vs 1.8%.

You can find the numbers in an article linked below but the bottom line it is working in Utah. There are several things not to like in Utah but it sure seems like the state is being run right.

Not true in Utah. See my above post for the links but we have a balanced budget (Amendment even) and they have and do cut taxes. It can and does work, the question may be scale. If you are talking pure federal guvmint, the problem is too many entitlements to balance the budget.

Not true in Utah. See my above post for the links but we have a balanced budget (Amendment even) and they have and do cut taxes. It can and does work, the question may be scale. If you are talking pure federal guvmint, the problem is too many entitlements to balance the budget.

As long as you include the Pentagon as an entitlement branch I'll go along with that statement
