Oh, help me Rhonda. You mean where blacks vote.
No. The way Blacks vote is a problem but it goes beyond that. Like you have States like Washington and Oregon who have almost no Blacks and vote like that. Minnesota. Wisconsin. Northeastern States with very low percent Black populations.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Those all seem like decent states on a variety of measurements. What don't you like about them?

I haven't followed Mikulski's career. What about her do you find disagreeable?

What about her do you find disagreeable?
You can find a summary of her positions/actions on various issues at http://www.ontheissues.org/senate/Barbara_Mikulski.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I think you know can tell from my writing that, though I might not disagree with every single action, that is not an overall set of actions I would favor. Two I can pick out that really put me off are:
Rated 100% by NARAL,
and
Voted NO on drilling ANWR on national security grounds.
Along with several other votes hostile to drilling in ANWR. If you go to the bottom of the page they have a graphic showing where the politician described falls on the political spectrum. Here is Barbara Mikulski's:

Image

It's captioned:
Barbara Mikulski is a Hard-Core Liberal.
The country would, in my opinion, be a lot better off if people of her philosophical/political orientation would never get into positions of power allowing them to influence things.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Oh. So your problems with white people who have different political theories than you. What makes you so fucking special? What makes you right?

Drive from Cheney to Missoula, and along the way stop by a school or read the local letters to the editor and you see what Northern Louisiana is like.

Yes, because you have spent soooo much time in Northern Louisiana to know exactly what it's like. :coffee:

Oh. So your problems with white people who have different political theories than you. What makes you so **** special? What makes you right?
What makes me right is that I'm right. To me, anybody with a lick of sense can see that, on balance, liberalism is degrading this country. It's at the root of the fundamental, long term, chronic fiscal problems for one thing. We would not have the chronic fiscal problems we have with respect to deficits and national debt if we did not proceed according to the idea that government should be involved in trying to ensure the well being of each individual. And, to me, it's pretty obvious.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?
