But the gay community wasn't satisfied destroying just one American icon so now they're going after the NFL

I was going to say Romo, but then I remembered that it's mid-month which means it's her heaviest flow day. Women aren't gay, right?

It depends on what kind of lesbian she is.

How often do you see "girlfriends" of drafted football players at their side when they receive the call? Family members, yes, when the cameras are at the players' homes. But it is rare to see the GF. I found it interesting that Sam's BF was sure to be in the camera shot. I didn't think it was "intentional" until I heard about his upcoming reality show. Now I know it was intentional.

Subliminal advertising at it's best.

Local sports radio guy, really a doofus, went on a rant about this yesterday (in support of Sam). He said, 'of course there are gay players already in every locker room. One out of every 8 or 9 people are gay.' Now, I don't know what is accepted as the official percentage, but I'm pretty sure it's not 10-13% of the population (especially in pro sports). Point being, why do people feel the need to exaggerate this stat all the time? He's not the first person I've heard do this recently. :ohno:

If I had to guess, I would say the gay population percentage in sports is a lot lower than the overall gay population percentage.

I just heard on the radio that the Rams will not allow camera access to the camp dorms, the locker room, or the other players. What's the point in watching? Look for high ratings initially, then a quick drop off the map.

He didn't post very good numbers at the scouting combines and he's a tweener position wise so it is wise for him to have a back up source of revenue.

Possibly the poor performance was a result of stress; it's hard to picture the SEC's defensive MVP earning that honor without having the ability to play in the NFL. We shall see.

I would watch the WNBA before I watch the NFL.

I quit two years ago and the coffin was nailed shut. Now they just added an unneeded nail.

Haven't watched NFL other than the superbowl for 15 years. Truly a horseshit game.

No. Chad Dukes. Is a perfect cross between Farva and the comic book guy from The Simpsons.

There's been misses when it comes to the SEC defense players of the year - Clairborne isn't exactly lighting it up with the Cowboys, and Rolando McClain did jack for the Raiders before abruptly retiring a year or two ago, and they were both even more highly touted prospects than Sam is. Like you said, the biggest problem for Sam is that he's a tweener and that's a problem in the NFL.
