This is what I was referring to regarding medicine:
There are very few sciences that are unchanged from what they looked like 100 years ago - we're always learning and the new stuff in some cases proves what we thought we knew before was wrong, and in many cases proves what we knew before was right.
You don't like economics because much of what has proven to be historically true doesn't jive with your world view. It's not the science and hard numbers you argue with, but the interpretation. You're confusing the two.
