Well, the war was raging (and in a stalemate) since 1914. We weren't formally involved until the Spring of 1917 (Declaration of War) and weren't formally fighting until November 1917. It is without a doubt that our contribution was pivotal in ending the war. We provided an infusion of energetic fighting men. We had a different style of fighting (the French were still going in lines :o :ohno: ).

I find it interesting that in 4 years of war, the UK lost about almost 9 million men. Our 1 1/2 year of active involvement cost a little more than 4.5 million.

If i'm iffy on the numbers but I think i'm close. Someone check a history book, i'm going off memory.

Side Note:
Can't Europe just be "the best place for Europeans" and created by them for them
and not be something we have to continually belittle and demean..?
I love Europe, but I don't want to live there
It's an AMAZING place from Southern England to Portugal, Switzerland... it's **** amazing

and it's PERFECT just the way it is = For Europeans
I'm always happy to go home

Yes Europe has a few thousand more years of cultural development and is INDEED culturally superior

I take it you like granny porn? Wouldn't an 80 year old be 4x superior to a 20 year old using your arguement?
So by this comment you mean Wal-Mart and Jack-in-the box = Hot 20 something...?

So is Europe culturally superior simply based on geography or are Europeans culturally superior to Americans? I ask because you could also include Athens in your list of cities to visit and from what I understand the Greeks of today have very little genetic relationship to the Greeks that built Athens and made it what it is and created the foundation for Western civilization.

I also have to ask if you can make such a blanket statement comparing Europe to America? Are the people of the Balkans culturally superior to residents of New York or San Francisco?
Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

You think the US lost 4.5 million. Try about 116,000. Even including wounded the total casualties for the US were about 320k.

You said the UK lost 9 about 9 million  Try about 1 tenth of that, about 900k.

The most the US ever lost in war was the War Between the States, 600+k. About 1/3 were KIA & about 2/3 disease.

It appears I was remembering total strength. Still, not bad for having to pull it from my memory. :thumb: And I didn't need wikipedia. Go suck a dick.

No, that was bad for having to pull it from memory. If you know any US war history, you should know it was well less than 600k ballpark (War Between the States) and 400k ballpark (WWII), much less 4.5 million.

I only had to look up how much less it was than WWII, as the War Between the States and WWII figures I've long had committed to memory as the 2 highest casualty wars in US history.

I can admit when I'm wrong or mistaken. I was clearly wrong in the deaths and remembering the total strengths. It's alright. :D
