Alphagriz was correct. This matter should be handled by members of the community at large. The parish's KOC should have a heart to heart with her husband; preferably at night; preferably with baseball bats; preferably leaving permanent injuries as a daily reminder. The message will be his first and only warning.D1B wrote:AZGrizFan wrote:![]()

Really? You haven't noticed this country rapidly becoming a police state?
You carry a gun.
Men who hit their wives or GF's are genetic waste not worthy of taxpayer-funded criminal justice rights.
Having spent my life in the U.S.'s liability capitol state, California, I can attest that "progressive", anti-law enforcement policies have failed. CA L.E. proverbially has their hands tied by "oversight" laws and non-L.E. commissions whose functions have effectively shielded criminals from prosecution while discouraging victims from reporting crimes.
I'm rather curious if the Diocese screens all it's employees and parishioners for relatives who could be prone to violent outbursts?
Of course not...since when would Catholic leadership demonstrate fairness and compassion within it's policies?
Shame on the Diocese for not taking the high road.
Hope this woman lands on her feet...
Hope her ol' man winds up bunking with someone who has a pair...
