They shouldn't have done it, but it's much ado about nothing. It was the Season 1 finale and nobody noticed it until the producers mentioned it on a DVD interview.

I'll agree that President Obama is pretty much the most incompetent President we've ever had. But it's something else entirely to call him a "coke-snorting terrorist." He might well be lying about his birthplace (though there is plenty of evidence that SOMEONE in HI issued a birth certificate), but being born in Kenya does NOT equate to being a terrorist, and it certainly doesn't equate to an unfounded statement that he does lines.

From a big picture view it might still be a race to the bottom with the states that are seeing the most growth winning. Rising employment with lower paying jobs isn't exactly a recovery. Then again, government isn't supposed to create jobs or reduce unemployment.
