Surprise, the FBI is looking into Cohen's business dealings and not any possible collusion. Too bad for the people getting their vaginas wet over Cohen's office being raided.
Is that why there are reports that Mueller has proof Cohen lied about visiting Prague during the election? Why visit Prague and then lie about it?

The Justice Department special counsel has evidence that Donald Trump’s personal lawyer and confidant, Michael Cohen, secretly made a late-summer trip to Prague during the 2016 presidential campaign, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

Confirmation of the trip would lend credence to a retired British spy’s report that Cohen strategized there with a powerful Kremlin figure about Russian meddling in the U.S. election.

It would also be one of the most significant developments thus far in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of whether the Trump campaign and the Kremlin worked together to help Trump win the White House. Undercutting Trump’s repeated pronouncements that “there is no evidence of collusion,” it also could ratchet up the stakes if the president tries, as he has intimated he might for months, to order Mueller’s firing.

Trump’s threats to fire Mueller or the deputy attorney general overseeing the investigation, Rod Rosenstein, grew louder this week when the FBI raided Cohen’s home, hotel room and office on Monday. The raid was unrelated to the Trump-Russia collusion probe, but instead focused on payments made to women who have said they had sexual relationships with Trump.

Cohen has vehemently denied for months that he ever has been in Prague or colluded with Russia during the campaign. Neither he nor his lawyer responded to requests for comment for this story.

It’s unclear whether Mueller’s investigators also have evidence that Cohen actually met with a prominent Russian – purportedly Konstantin Kosachev, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin — in the Czech capital. Kosachev, who chairs the Foreign Affairs Committee of a body of the Russian legislature, the Federation Council, also has denied visiting Prague during 2016. Earlier this month, Kosachev was among 24 high-profile Russians hit with stiff U.S. sanctions in retaliation for Russia’s meddling.

But investigators have traced evidence that Cohen entered the Czech Republic through Germany, apparently during August or early September of 2016 as the ex-spy reported, said the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is confidential. He wouldn’t have needed a passport for such a trip, because both countries are in the so-called Schengen Area in which 26 nations operate with open borders. The disclosure still left a puzzle: The sources did not say whether Cohen took a commercial flight or private jet to Europe, and gave no explanation as to why no record of such a trip has surfaced.

So are we recycling stories now or what has changed? I thought Cohen had proof that he was in California on a college visit with his son when the Prague visit allegedly happened? :suspicious:

So jelly, are you going to own up to the fact that the Cohen-Prague story was debunked by Jake Tapper...

No new information can come out in a year?

The story I posted certainly sounds like new information that was not available in January of 2017. Perhaps the result of federal search warrants being executed on Cohen last week. :?

I'm not sure how Jake Tapper debunked it. Feel free to post a link.

As for the above USC alibi. Cohen was probably in LA August 23 to 29 as he claims. But, what does the dossier say? What does the McClatchy report say? Nothing about those particular dates. :coffee:

Something must have - Spanky and Cohen both seem pretty nervous about wanting to see what the "Taint Team" (  ) has in their possession.

You know you're fvcked when they send a Taint Team.....the question is have they ever dealt with a taint this size... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Cohen refused court order to name his 3rd client - even under seal. Trump and Broidy were previously known.

Judge doesn't buy his bullshit... and.... his 3rd client is Sean Hannity.

Either Cohen lied to judge or Hannity is lying,

A friend from HS is a lawyer. I’ve never used him but I’ve often received his advice on certain matters.

I don’t like Hannity, however I’ll give him the benefit of doubt. I’ll say this- he’s not in good company. 2/3s of Cohens clients have had to pay off women who they screwed. That isn’t a good club

LOL. A couple of things here:

Tapper vid is below.

Correct. No new info as it relates to the heart of the matter: Russian collusion. That's why Mueller referred the NY prosecutor to investigate and apply for the warrant. You do realize that right?

As far as your other questions, nice try on the troll job. The onus is on you to pull the Russian collusion homework together. This is the hill you chose to die on so it's on you to piece together the dossier and its supporting evidence (good luck with that btw). I'm just here laughing at your constant parroting of imploding Russian collusion narratives.

92 pages and counting and the entertainment is still going strong.

Hannity was in Statesboro when George W Bush came by to campaign for Max Burns. Everyone I talked to (including one not-so-conservative chick) said Hannity was all class and wasn't too good to talk to anyone.

I believe him over Cohen, honestly. At this point Trump has had so many lawyers and enough of them probably have had bad experiences that Trump can only find shady people to represent him. But we'll see.

Not a listener of his show, BTW. He used to have some interesting guests on sometimes but now it's just chatter and Trump apologetics (yawn).

Yeah, they're both idiots and it's tough to know who to believe.

But, it's hard to see why Cohen would be so motivated to have his lawyers fight the judge so hard on not revealing him as a client. If he only had a few informal conversations with Cohen - why not just not list him as a client and say you have 2 clients. Not a lawyer, but it seems like he would have been fine not considering Hannity a client. And, I'm sure Cohen had many more informal conversations with people that he didn't list as "clients."

Maybe he wanted to boost his client list from 2 to 3. But, not much difference there.

My assumption is that Cohen wanted to try to get whatever the feds seized involving Hannity to be considered protected under attorney client privilege. Why? I dunno. Hopefully there's plenty more to come. :D

lol. Not even investigating it! Ruled out almost immediately!

Manafort Suspected of Serving as ‘Back Channel’ to Russia, DOJ Says

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s interest in former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort stemmed in part from his suspected role as a “back channel” between the campaign and Russians intent on meddling in the election, a Justice Department lawyer told a judge.

The disclosure by U.S. prosecutors came Thursday during a hearing on whether Mueller exceeded his authority in indicting Manafort on charges of laundering millions of dollars while acting as an unregistered agent of the Ukrainian government. Manafort’s lawyers say those alleged crimes have nothing to do with Mueller’s central mission -- to determine whether anyone in the Trump campaign had links to the Russian government.

Defense attorney Kevin Downing argued anew to U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson in Washington that even Mueller’s appointment order permitting him to probe “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation” wouldn’t cover the political consulting work that Manafort did in Ukraine for a decade.

But Justice Department attorney Michael Dreeben said prosecutors were justified in investigating Manafort because he had served as Trump’s campaign chairman.

“He had long-standing ties to Russia-backed politicians,” Dreeben told Jackson. “Did they provide back channels to Russia? Investigators will naturally look at those things.”
