We have a waiting area in our office for people waiting to see various analysts or our SES. Co-workers throw various magazines on the table for folks to read. Typically, the table is populated by The New Yorker, The Nation, Entertainment Weekly, etc.

I found out that two of my co-workers attended the March For Their Lives a couple of weeks ago, and I was so tempted to cut off my address and put copies of American Rifleman on the table, but I didn't want to suffer the investigation, questioning, and shunning that would have ensued.

And, Mueller is arguing collusion is part of the Manafort indictments - otherwise it wouldn't have been included as unredacted in the memo - and the court filing argues that Manafort's indictments are related to section (b)(1) of the original Rosensteign appointment (that's the section related to coordination with Россия).

F.B.I. Raids Office of Trump’s Longtime Lawyer Michael Cohen

The F.B.I. on Monday raided the office of President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records related to several topics including payments to a pornographic-film actress.

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan obtained the search warrant after receiving a referral from the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, according to Mr. Cohen’s lawyer, who called the search “completely inappropriate and unnecessary.” The search does not appear to be directly related to Mr. Mueller’s investigation, but likely resulted from information he had uncovered and gave to prosecutors in New York.

“Today the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York executed a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications between my client, Michael Cohen, and his clients,” said Stephen Ryan, his lawyer. “I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller.”

Mr. Cohen plays a role in aspects of the special counsel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He also recently said he paid $130,000 to a pornographic-film actress, Stephanie Clifford, who said she had an affair with Mr. Trump. Ms. Clifford is known as Stormy Daniels.

Mr. Ryan said Mr. Cohen has cooperated with authorities and turned over thousands of documents to congressional investigators looking into Russian election meddling.

The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search. The F.B.I. also seized emails, tax documents and business records, the person said.

Hard to say without knowing what, if anything, he'd be charged with.

Trump can pardon anything Federal with pretty wide latitude. But, if anything is a NY state charge as well - Schneiderman will bury them. That's why I'm not worried about Manafort being pardoned. We'll see with Cohen.

We'll now know EVERYTHING Trump shared with his lawyer that the lawyer cared to put in writing (and maybe more if the lawyer rolls over to avoid whatever unrelated crime they used to get the warrant)

so there'll be a Bimbo Explosion (maybe campaign violations) - that's a Clinton term... I can't take credit for that one

shady real estate deals with associated money hiding/laundering ... maybe real estate deals with ..... Russians!

and maybe even Trump's tax returns

Trump's feeling cornered. Every instinct is telling him to fire Rosenstein and Mueller. His administration is losing the few remaining level-headed advisors. His legal counsel is deteriorating - either through resignations or federal fucking warrants. His instinct on Comey screwed him royally. Seems like he's ready to go down that road again.

It looks like this story arc is going to take a very ugly turn right about now. We're just getting started.

I like how the FBI is going after Cohen, since this is just as hard as they went after Hillary's personal lawyer during the email scandal...oh wait, no they didn't.

We'll see if there is anything big they get on Trump with the move on Cohen (by big I mean Russian collusion, no doubt they will find more hooker stuff), but initially I have to agree with Chizzy's occult Vermont cousin on this matter, Mueller hasn't found anything yet so he is getting others into the witch hunt to broaden the scope:
