If Trip was referencing me on violence, I believe that if liberals begin trying to chip away at the Bill of Rights and cannot be stopped peacefully, then yes, by all means violence should be employed to prevent tyranny. That’s why the Second Amendment was written.

But the GOP is so far right at this point that they're not even on a playing field anymore. The sensible response to major ideological differences is to split a nation, not pursue bloodshed.
