Religion often equates to political beliefs. Sorbo is a very public figure and just like athletes in the limelight, puts himself out there. No rocks were uncovered to discover his politics. And let’s not pretend the religious right doesn’t have a ton of political influence.

To summarize, the Old Testament showed how many times man and God entered into covenants in which if man followed the laws, they could be in the presence of God. Man could never fulfill those laws because of our nature.

So, God sent us Jesus to fulfill all the requirements man couldn't. So getting into Heaven is as simple as understanding you'll make mistakes your whole life, but that Jesus has absolved us through His sacrifice and you accept that. Straight up gift.

So, working your way into Heaven doesn't work. It's Grace that gets you in.

Now should any person hang out with another who doesn't live a wholesome life? None of us meet that definition, but one needs to be careful about a little bit of yeast working it's way through the dough.
