I answered your questions. Your turn.
Your questions would be valid if the bible was turned into a graphic novel showing depictions of child pornography promoted and dumped into public school systems while teachers and administrators were covertly proselytizing to their students behind their parent's backs.

The way things are now, coaches and their players can't even take a knee and say a silent prayer after a football game.

Find me something...anything like that and we can have a conversation. Obfuscation and deflection is your game. I'm not going to compare a paper cut to a gaping chest wound.
True. So a graphically illustrated Bible should be banned and transgender affirming book without pics is ok?

Coaches and players can still knee and say a private prayer.

Thank you to Finland for hosting the 2022 Women's World Championship of American Football and for stealing the Bronze Medal from Canada!

Uh, we have the highest standard of living in all of human history. No one's saying it's perfect, but the vast majority of this country of 330M people are "surviving" just fine. I wonder if people who tweet crap like this (and those who reproduce it on message boards) have ever really left the US and seen the rest of the world and really have any clue what survival even looks like? Again, we're not perfect, and there's more than a lifetime's worth of work to get busy on, but that work isn't made any easier by blatantly political and erroneous tweets like this. :coffee:

I’m not even sure how we measure standard of living or whether it’s accurate in regards to human growth and happiness. What do you mean by "critical mass regarding conservation and democracy"? Sounds deep, but not sure what you're actually referring to and what you mean by that.

I'm not bothered by very much, my life is great, thanks, because it is working out for me. I'm not the richest person in the world (far from it, and maybe even below average versus just the posters on this board), I don't have unlimited resources or luxuries. But I live very well in a generally safe country, my family has access to modern medicine and any level of education, we can go anywhere and basically do anything we want (within the law), we breathe pretty clean air and drink pretty clean water and we have a nice roof over our heads. All this despite billionaires and their paid servants in the media and politics have more than me and making money off of providing all those things. Like I said, it's not perfect, but in the grand scheme of things, a pretty comfortable and enjoyable life. Like I said, I'm not bothered by any of it, if you are then I'm sorry you don't like living comfortably.

We've had this debate so many times. The standard of living and happiness of future generations will suffer under the type of government that you advocate. Humans are ambitious and competitive. If you take away private ownership, you remove much of the incentive to invest time and money, take risks and develop products and services that change the world and improve lives. We've seen it in the USSR, ambitious people will gravitate toward government jobs where they can become powerful and wealthy but where they won't be creating products and services that change the world and improve lives. As Ganny as said, capitalism isn't perfect but it's better than the alternatives.

If you think our economy is a game without boundaries, rules, and people to enforce them then I really question what you're seeing because the part of the economy I'm in and the part I can see has all of those things. Sounds like a straw man argument on your part.

We have tons of regulation. Much of it excessive and harmful. Try running a small business. I feel your pain. Maybe we need better rules and more competent referees?

But tweets and articles you post and politicians you tacitly support do advocate for public ownership of the means of production and distribution. That isn't capitalism.

If you have to force people to be community driven and virtuous then they aren't free and their happiness will be impacted. You want a cultural change driven by the government, historically that hasn't ended well or anywhere near what you say want.
