Correct. And sometimes, peaceful protests can still be illegal. Disruption is kind of the point when you're protesting something. It gets you headlines. You might be a douchebag for doing it and can be arrested (unless you're armed and your last name is Bundy...oh wait...)

It's the right to run someone over part that Trip was questioning here. You're not backing down from that now are you? :dunce:
We see thus numerous times every year- protestors illegally blocking highyways. And I'm not talking some lightly traveled 2 lane road but heavily traveled 4-6 lane highways) trapping thousands of motorists. You let them be run over once you'll never see protestors blocking highways again- problem solved.

But since I'm reasonable I'd be willing to compromise with rubber bullets. Illegal blocking of highway and trapping of thousands of motorists would end (and likely wouldn't be repeated), no one dies, problem solved.

Blocking a 4 Lane highway = worthy of summary executions.

2-lane road: meh.

In the pic you showed it was a dirt road/creek bed blocking access to a few f'ing cattle. Absolutley ZERO comparison.. :dunce:

It's only summary execution if they're not smart enough to get the **** out of the way of oncoming vehicles.

so, yeah, given the intelligence level of those protesting it's probably gonna be multiple summary executions.
Yeah- for the few libtards who didn't get out of the way it would be like Darwinism at work. Don't liberals like Darwinism?

Well that's not really how Darwinism works.

(You're also not the first to misuse Darwinism as justification to clean-out the gene pool...think Godwin's law.)

There needs to be a law in the country that protesters blocking highways are allowed to be run over..
Aaaannnnnnd Trump just picked up more votes than he would have if this event had passed without incident.

Yes.

But the court systems don't have to be tied up...just video tape the clowns and fast track their cases. If they are repeat offenders, then put them in jail and let Bubba have a piece of them.

End of story. Good luck trying to get a job later.

Oh wait, they don't have jobs.

InfinityMan is really out on a limb here.

WTF is he arguing? Some Liberal crap that says people are more isolated than in the past because of the interweb...because they only read certain material and isolate themselves from opposing opinions?

Yeah, that makes total sense. :dunce: Yup, people who didn't get much news before the interweb were so much more in tune with the world.

Let me some it up for you, Lemniscape...you are arguing that ignorant people should be allowed to be ignorant buffoons because they are ignorant. And normal people, who want to go about their day, should be allowed to be interrupted by the ignorant masses...well, not masses, since they are so few in number compared to the non-ignorant people, with no consequences to the ignorant clowns.

Yeah, what a great country this would be if we tolerated such garbage behavior every day in our homes, schools, churches...heck, everywhere.

Want some attention? Feeling bad about yourself and the world? Go interrupt everyone else's lives.

JFC, what a load of crap you are spouting. :tothehand:

I think he's at least partly right here in a way. If you read news in the past, your first choice was the local paper which in many if not most cases was not overly biased. Papers had op-eds from both sides, the AP stories were neutral, the content and headlines were neutral.

Now you can get all of the news you want complete with click bait headlines and heavily biased reporting without ever having to leave Breitbart or Rawstory. Anecdotally judging from Facebook posts, it looks like most of my politically oriented friends do EXACTLY that.

Didn't someone link a study the other day where people are now less informed than they used to be?

I think it's a legitimate argument that media is now catered to the user and it's beginning to socially and politically affect people. For example, go to your FB homepage and you'll likely find way more posts and news stories that agree with your view points (or make you feel good) than don't; it's the same for users which get their news from sources like Apps when they're logged in. Algorithms run the Internet.

Why are laughing Mr. Conservative? The party that's suppose to represent you is supporting Trump and Cruz over your one viable candidate. :ohno:

Kasich is viable only in his own fanciful mind. If he actually appealed to the conservative GOP electorate, he might be ahead. Instead, he piously sets himself above the fray, acting like a common scold, preferring to cluck-cluck (not Cluck-Cluck 8-) ) some nattering criticisms of his own party's candidates rather than go after Hillary Clinton. He's an old spinster schoolmarm -- the Church Lady of the GOP.

As of a couple of weeks ago, Kasich did fare better in Real Clear Politics head-to-head polling against Hildabeast than Rubio, Cruz, or Trump (who did worst). That said, he needs a contested convention to get the nod, and as we get into more closed primaries, Kasich won't have the support of moderate independents or crossover Dems. If he has a strong showing on April 26, when the mid-Atlantic states vote, he might have a stronger case at convention. I'd vote for him in a heartbeat over Hillary.

That said, he's still a sanctimonious pain in the ass.

None. At this point, the stars point to an IT vote for Gary Johnson.
