I would question all of it. You can't on the one hand villify the media because they **** up the facts in an effort to be first with the story, and then fall back on media reports when they say something that you agree with.
Sounds like you only question authority when it suits you.
I was CLEARLY referring to the media mis identyfying a person, which is a huge deal- it can turn the life upside down of an innocent person, bringing them great embarrassment, mental, financial, and even physical harm.
You're equating that with mis identyfing the weapon. If you can't tell the difference between the 2, then you really are

Fox News looks like geniuses compared to Bob Costas saying Belcher wouldn't have killed her if he didn't have a gun.
Yep. I wonder if Costas will go on an anti gun rant on Sun night football.

Yep. Even though the sick f**K is dead, this is a prime example of why we need the death penalty, in case sick f**ks like this do survive their horrible acts.
Of course if he had survived, his attorneys would have plead him not guilty by reason of insanity, and in the infinite wisdom of the libs on the Supreme Ct, we can't give the death penalty to monsters like this.

If the media can't be trusted to get the name of a person right, how can you trust them to correctly identify the weapon? You know they fucked up the name of the shooter, but you are quick to buy into their assessment of the weapon. And you call me an idiot.
Tell the truth, is BDKJMU short for BigDicKJaMmedUpmyass?

Ahem. I think we can safely say that this is a CONK-generated, CONK-perpetuated and CONK-responsibiity thing. Guns kill people. CONKS, get yer shit in order.

I have a theory. Maybe this kid got upset life wasn't going his way? Almost every article I have read talks about how brilliant this kid was, but yet he didn't have a job, lived with his mother and in general didn't function well around people.
Not trying to make light of the situation, but maybe this kid just couldn't handle how tough life was for such a savant. Maybe we need to quit labeling every freaking kid brilliant, when they aren't.

Many brilliant kids end up with serious issues. Especially the ones with strong ADD.

Would savant be a better term? Not trying to be a dick to these kids, just trying to clarify.
18 kids are dead. 18 families are grieving. 18 mothers and fathers will never get to hold their baby again. STOP!!!
CAN'T THIS SHIT AT LEAST WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW!
Can we agree to table this fucking political shit for 24 hours and grieve for these poor children and their parents?
Go fuck yourself, gun freak.
You are a tiny little man. Internet trolls like you usually are. Pity your mother was a catholic when you were born. An abortion and a flush would have been a great solution for a turd like you.
Dear lord... please allow this dangerous combination of hair spary, bat slobber, and D.O.T. four automatic transmission fluid to excite my mind, occupy my spirits, and enrage my body, provoking me to kick any man or woman in the back of the head regardless of what he or she has or has not done unto me. All my Best, Earlie Cuyler.
While the complete specifics of what the guy in Connecticut had for weapons is not yet known, let me ask this.
Does anyone in this country need an Automatic Rifle with a 100 round clip like the shooter in Aurora had? What reason could anyone have to need that?
This discussion our country needs to, and will undertake now is not about banning all guns, it will be about better gun control and banning weapons and accessories such as fully automatic rifles and 100 round clips.
In the eight years since the Automatic Weapons Ban expired when the Republican controlled Congress refused to renew it, mass shootings in the United States have nearly tripled.

"It's too soon to talk about gun laws"
We heard that right after Columbine, again after Virginia Tech and then after Tucson and Aurora.
For 20 small children and six adults in Newtown, CT yesterday, it's too late.
If we stopped putting off the discussion and action, those 26 people may still be alive today.
We should not wait a single day to start talking about it. Action needs to be taken.
Agreed. We need to arm the teachers. Open carry everywhere. That way, when someone decides to do this, they don't get the luxury of doing it in a "gun-free zone". Like fish in a barrel.
"Ah fuck. You are right." KYJelly, 11/6/12

I was addressing both sides of the discussion. My point is that we need to stop for a moment, avoid the urge to immediately begin bashing each other over the head with the same old tired arguments from both sides of the wing-nut brigades, and remember that real people died, and real people are suffering. Lets take a moment to think about them and not immediately use this tragedy to grind out another useless anti or pro gun thread.
But as usual, you mouth off without being able to understand the simplest concept. Reading comprehension! Try it!

While it doesn't happen too often, usually when a Palestinian goes on a killing spree in Israel, it is an armed citizen that kills the attacker before authorities can arrive.

Do you not understand what it takes to get a fully automatic rifle? Really, do you? Don't talk about things that you know NOTHING about. I could probably take up a collection so we could send you to china or japan or korea or wherever, to get you idiots out of this country one at a time.

Yeah, making laws and shit on pure emotion always works out. Go fuck a dog.
