Maybe, if he's awake. Not many adjustments necessary with airliners really, driving a Greyhound probably requires more.
Yet, because of his union contract, that POS pilot is making $150K working 12-14 days a month. Congratulations for driving yet another industry into the ground.

Houndawg: "Well, who were the geniuses that negotiated those contracts?" See? Bad management....

Yeah, and when the union has a gun to your head and your alternative is to shut down the company, you try to make it work....but you'll never see that will you.

Dawg's funnier because he argues like John Kerry. :coffee:

And I'm not desperate. This is one of very few issues that really pisses me off. I've watched the town my parents grew up in become basically a ghost town because of unions. It's REAL sad to watch, but the union didn't seem to care. Now all my cousins that still live in that area struggle to make a living when they were making 50-60K 25 years ago working at the smelter. But that wasn't enough, so they went on strike for $1 more an hour. The plant shut down and they sent the ore to Japan to smelt.

The union killed the town, and probably view that as a victory. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

Kind of you to say so, but heck, I just seem funnier because I'm in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

Here's a newsflash, Herbert, 1) your cousins didn't lose their jobs to Japan over $1/hr, those jobs were leaving even if the workforce would have offered to work for minimum wage because US managers wouldn't modernize their steel producing plants. 2) unions don't go on strike without the rank and file voting to do so, 3) workforces unionize because management's word isn't worth the price of the paper it's written on. :coffee:

1) You sure profess to know a lot about a situation about which you don't know shit.
2) Yes, my cousins voted to strike. And it got the company shut down. And it WAS for a $1 more an hour.
3) Again, the comment doesn't surprise me because you've drunk fully from the union koolaid jug. It's ALL shitty management's fault.

You've proven by your very words that the workers are USELESS without management. The UAW proves it every day. You talk about all the wonderful workers and how they'd perform so much better if we'd just get rid of management, but apparently they wander around aimlessly (Chrysler, GM) without good management (Ford). You guys (line workers) wouldn't know how to get out of the fucking BATHROOM if there wasn't someone there to give you direction. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:
