He didn't forget. He obviously never knew.

Questioner: What would you do, if you were elected, about Aleppo?

Johnson: About?

Questioner: Allepo.

Johnson: And what is Allepo?

Questioner: You're kidding?

Johnson: No.

Questioner: Allepo is in Syria.

Herman Cain got crucified in 2012 because he came out and said that he would have to discuss foreign policy decisions with his advisors before taking any actions.

The duopolists don't want a President, they want to choose a king (or queen) with absolute power. That's where we are as a country now.

That he doesn't know about Aleppo raises him a few notches in my book.

We could use a President who knows more about Akron than Aleppo.

Now there's a good sound bite. You better call up the Johnson campaign before I find their number because I'm stealing that. Knows Akron better than Aleppo. Fuck yes that's gold, son.

Great nugget from an opinion piece in the Chicago Tribune:
Her problem is that she has always been Hillary Clinton, understood to be a liar, the Democratic Nixon in pants suits.
Hillary, how can this be? Isn't the race over?

And IT's buddy Steve Chapman makes a much better case on why a Trump presidency would be bad news. JSO, you might want to take some notes, these arguments are much more compelling than yours.

Winning the election would turbocharge Trump's worst impulses. He would have new grounds to ignore GOP leaders and indulge his every whim. If that approach gets him elected, why would he behave any differently as president?

Why is that a better argument?

This argument is that Donald Trump's election would be detrimental to the Republican Party.

JSO's argument is that Donald Trump winning would be detrimental to the country.

I don't really disagree that Trump winning would damage the GOP long term....... but, the best reason to not vote for Trump isn't because of the damage he'd do to the GOP but to the fucking country. :?

"Hillary's Health Concerns Serious, Say Most Doctors Polled by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS)

TUCSON, Ariz., Sept. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Concerns about Hillary Clinton's health are "serious—could be disqualifying for the position of President of the U.S.," say nearly 71% of 250 physicians responding to an informal internet survey by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS). About 20% said concerns were "likely overblown, but should be addressed as by full release of medical records." Only 2.7% responded that they were "just a political attack; I have confidence in the letter from her physician and see no cause for concern."

While more than 81% were aware of her history of a concussion, only 59% were aware of the cerebral sinus thrombosis, and 52% of the history of deep venous thrombosis.

More than 78% said the health concerns had received "not enough emphasis" in the media, and only 2.7% that there had been "too much emphasis."

Nearly two-thirds said that a physician who had a concern about a candidate's fitness to serve for health reasons should "make the concerns known to the public." Only 11% said a physician should "keep silent unless he had personally examined the patient," and 10% that the candidate's health was "off limits for public discussion."......."

That might be true if we had a different Democratic candidate but I'm not sure that Trump would do more damage to the country than Hillary. Having either one of them in the White House is a scary thought.

Calling Hillary a Democratic Nixon really isn't fair to Nixon.

And, that's fair enough.

But, we were discussing JSO's reasons for being anti-Trump.

Being anti-Trump because he'll damage the country is a better reason than being anti-Trump because he'll damage the GOP. :thumb:

What excactly would Johnson do better than Trump? No offense, but Johnson comes off to me as a person who shouldn't even be a third party candidate. He has neither intelligence, wit, nor charisma. That's a very, very bad trifecta for a politician and even an everyday regular Joe. Just a terrible candidate.

Why anyone would effectively vote for Hillary Clinton by making some shortsighted cute little stand against the man by voting for dimwit Johnson is beyond me.

When did all you so-called conservatives lose your spines?

Certainly for Clinton.
