As Chizzang gets older and more impressionable he becomes more and more like me.

In a few months he is going to be questioning that New Vatican which is the settled science of anthropogenic climate change.

Chizzang posts here because the AGS poli wing is so lame. :jack: I never take seriously anything he says, unless it pertains to music. (Mahler???) He's just a well-haberdashed Jim Jones without the Koolaid.

Too much brass banging around. Mahler is full employment for the musicians' union, though, cacophonous as he may be. :twocents:

Well okay sure, Symphony No. 1 is a little calamitous
but No. 4 is beautiful (stunningly so in fact) and I'm really growing to love No. 2 & 6

These days I'm revisiting my Mozart collection and have settled into a morning routine with The second movement to the Piano Concerto #21 and The 1st movement of the A major sonata K331 as well as the famous last movement to the 41st Symphony "Jupiter"

Mozart is one thing we can certainly agree on! And I'm really getting into Schubert's chamber music. :thumb:

Have you seen the latest Air France commercial? They used piano cto #23 second movement. The way the coordinate the music with the two dancers is striking. Nobody makes commercials like this anymore.

Ive always enjoyed Schubert, Mozart, Bach and the Russian dude who compose Swan Lake, I can't spell his name. I visited the house that Mozart grew up in Salzburg, it's an amazing Museum. .

When I saw it on TV I immediately jumped online to see who came up with it. I'm tempted to fly Air France simply because they chose to depart from the cynical cliche advertising and do something beautiful.
