I smell desperation.
I invite you to start a, "Koch Cash Bribery" thread.

We could use an epic Andyanchor thread.

You won't...because the Koch brothers are saints in comparison to the Clintons.

Washington Examiner
Clintons hit with deposition notices in racketeering case

By SARAH WESTWOOD
7/10/15 2:39 PM

Bill and Hillary Clinton have been ordered to give depositions in a racketeering case filed against them and the Clinton Foundation.
Larry Klayman, president of Freedom Watch, sent deposition notices to the former first couple Friday in his lawsuit alleging civil RICO misconduct, which allegedly resulted in the failure to produce to him documents requested under the Freedom of Information Act.
Hillary Clinton was ordered to give her deposition the morning of July 28 in Washington, D.C., and her husband was ordered to give hers the following morning, according to notices obtained by the Washington Examiner.
A judge set the racketeeringcase to trial in May.
Klayman, who has filed a number of lawsuits against the Clintons and other public figures, suggested the former first couple and their foundation used their political clout to drum up foreign donations and, in return, lavished diplomatic favors for contributors while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state.

Washington Free Beacon
Company That Dodged Iran Sanctions Gave to Clinton Foundation

Vahid Alaghband claims not to remember donation

BY: Alana Goodman
July 10, 2015 1:18 pm

A businessman whose company was accused of selling 747s to Iran in violation of U.S. sanctions is also a major donor to the Clinton Foundation, theDaily Beast reported Friday.
Vahid Alaghband’s company Balli Aviation Ltd. pled guilty to multiple counts stemming from the allegations and was ordered to pay $2 million in criminal fines and $15 million in civil fines, according to the Beast.
The company contributed between $10,000 and $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation and Alaghband describes himself as a member of the Clinton Global Initiative on his company’s website:
One of the two counts against Balli Aviation was that it “conspired to export three Boeing 747 aircraft from the United States to Iran,” according to a Justice Department statement, without first obtaining the necessary export licenses from the U.S. government.
The company then used its Armenian airline subsidiary to buy the 747s with financing obtained from Mahan Air, Iran’s largest private airline, which is thought by the State Department to be controlled by former Iranian President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. In 2011, the Treasury Departmentsanctioned the airline for “providing financial, material and technological support to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Qods Force (IRGC-QF),” or the expeditionary arm of the Islamic Republic’s praetorian military division, now heavily active in both Syria and Iraq. At the time, the Treasury Department accused the Qods Force of “secretly ferrying operatives, weapons and funds” on Mahan flights.
On the Clinton Foundation website, Alaghband’s company is listed as a donor in the $10,001 to $25,000 bracket. Moreover, on the website for Balli Real Estate, a property investment and development subsidiary also based in the UK, his personal bio describes him as a member of the Clinton Global Initiative.
When contacted by the Daily Beast, Alaghband denied that he was ever a member of CGI and said he did not recall donating to the Clinton Foundation.

a person owned by an executive branch employee

we can do this all day

paying for influence with elected or campaigning officials may be dirty but it is legal atm

I am an appointed Federal officer, comfirmed by the Senate. I can in no way accept donations either directly or indirectly from foreign governments - benign or not - the rules are VERY clear on this

Hillary Clinton is bound by the same rules

even the White House understood this and set ground rules for her which she ignored

if I need to go back to basic 4th grade civics for you so you'll understand the difference between this and your broken record peeve (citizens united) just let me know

The transparency of corruption is still amazing. I'm sure Hillary will be jump right on board with this. :ohno:
A coalition of eight progressive organizations, using material previously published at The Intercept, have challenged Hillary Clinton to disavow the use of “golden parachute” bonuses for former Wall Street executives who enter government service.

In a letter to the Clinton campaign delivered today, the organizations, including Rootstrikers, Democracy for America, CREDO and MoveOn.org Political Action, refer to two top aides to Clinton when she served as secretary of state, Thomas Nides and Robert Hormats. As The Intercept reported in July, Nides and Hormats received millions of dollars in golden parachute payments from their respective ex-employers, investment banks Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, after becoming Clinton’s deputies.

Goldman Sachs paid out Hormats’ unvested restricted stock units, valued between $250,000 and $500,000. Morgan Stanley’s accelerated payout for Nides of restricted stock units was worth between $5 million and $25 million. Deferred compensation awards like these would have been forfeited, had the executives left their jobs for somewhere other than the government.

Nides, a six-figure bundler in Clinton’s former and current presidential campaigns, returned right back to Morgan Stanley after Clinton left the State Department. He has been touted for a potential chief of staff position in a Clinton White House. Hormats has been part of a small group of economic advisers to Clinton during her 2016 presidential run.

“It’s hard to imagine Democrats’ 2016 nominee will be truly tough on Wall Street banks that break the law,” said Charles Chamberlain, executive director of Democracy for America, “if they won’t commit to banning their advisers from receiving legalized bribes from those same banks.”

I hear of Uncle Joe may run with Fauxcahontas as his running mate, with a pledge to only run for one term

More socialized Ag, more socialized financial services, more socialized defense contracting too? Whoot!

Not much difference between Biden and Hillary on the issues until Warren took over. Hard to imagine that Wall Street will let either her or Sanders even get a whiff of the nomination or VP.
