You read nothing. You learn nothing. You condemn information solely based upon the source without disputing the specific accuracy of what's offered.

And you blindly accept the accuracy of other assertions, again, solely due the the source (governmental).

Yet you imply that I'm "crazy"?

You apparently have difficulty with reading comprehension as neither of the two articles you cited make reference to "WWF", "UNESCO", "Julian Huxley" or the book "The Environmental Revolution: A Guide For The Masters Of The World".

Rather you referenced Alarmist hit pieces attempting to portray skeptics as conspiracy loons.

Pretty immature response.

The overwhelming majority of US scientists acknowledge that man-made climate change is a serious issue. The overwhelming majority of the world's scientists acknowledge that man-made climate change is a serious issue. The overwhelming majority of first and second-world government bodies, including religious bodies, acknowledge that man-made climate change is a serious issue. The overwhelming population of first and second-world populations acknowledge that man-made climate change is a serious issue. Islands are sinking, coast lines are receding, animals have changed their migration patterns, algal blooms are popping up everywhere, asthma has increased, and the poles are melting.

But don't worry everyone, the conservative right in the US (less than 1% of the world's population)...they got this. They went to school and got PhDs, studied the data, created computer models, and peer reviewed each others work. And they even post their opinions on internet forums for us simpletons to understand. Lucky for us, it looks like there's nothing to see. All those other "experts" with their fancy journals are wrong.

Thanks JSO!!! Thanks travelinman!!! Now I can open up a coal mine and instead of installing a scrubber, I can make 103 million instead of 100 million!!! Y'all are the best!!! :notworthy:

You are repeating talking points you've heard on TV.

Post the SCIENCE! Post the DATASETS! Post the METHODOLOGY! Debate the SKEPTICS challenges!

You won't, because:
The science is flawed and theory is unsupported by results.
The datasets are incomplete and almost in all cases "modified".
The methodology is designed to "force" results.
The principal technique employed to sell this theory is the "shoutdown" (which you have aptly demonstrated here). Scientific method does not include the "democratic" vote, ABSENT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH!!

BTW, none of the current scientific publications I've read support your belief that the "climate change" theory is a "concluded theory". Rather, the scientific community (non-politicized) generally view climate change as an immensely complex field of science that will require decades of further research before any accurate modeling can be developed: A position which has been successfully supported by the current failed modeling.

And, as a side note, do you really think that childish mockery helps convince anyone that "your position" represents an enlightened person's viewpoint?

So, let me get this straight...the seas have risen 3.2 millimeters per year, on average, over the past two decades.
Multiply that by 6.93 and you get an amazing 2.5 inches of sea level rise.

2.5 inches.

Stop the presses. :coffee:

Seriously, folks, when you factor in a margin of error, and compare it to the historical data of the planet's climate changes, that number doesn't do crap for me. I'm still going to eat meat, drive a car, run an air conditioner, and have fun. And fart.

Now, the amazing part of this is that continents rise and fall all of the time due to things unrelated to CO2. The Pacific is shrinking, the Atlantic is growing, Miami is sinking, Venice is sinking, K2 is still growing, etc. Given all of that continental mass movement, and the subsequent effect on the water levels of such movement, and throwing in the tidal effect of the moon and the impact of the world's winds on water movement (thus, water level), it is amazing that science thinks it can pin down any significant part of that estimated 2.5 inches to global warmin...uh, climate change.

Tectonic plate movements won't be stopped by conservation. Withdrawal of ground water supplies won't be stopped anytime soon unless we find another way to provide water to the masses. And islands certainly won't stop tipping over if we don't stop putting so many more people on them.

The Earth will change, populations and civilizations will move and change (Iraq used to be a paradise a couple thousand years ago). During this time, poor people will suffer a bit, wealthy people will do just fine, the middle class will be asked to sacrifice for both the poor and the rich, and smart people will make a profit from all the chaos. And, life will go on.

In other words...same shit, different day.

Frankly, I won't stop living my lifestyle until the uber wealthy folks and politicians cut back their lifestyles...actually, that wouldn't change my ways either.

It is comical for the mass media and politicians to shout that the sky is falling, and then ask for everyone (else) to conserve, while at the same time they are living large and wasting umteen billions of people's money.

Study:

Julian Huxley
Founding of UNESCO
Founding of WWF
Read: "The Environmental Revolution: A Guide For The Masters Of The World" (Max Nicholson)

I won't cite sources, as that would just provoke the Trolls.
I will intimate that the scam is founded in preserving monarchial-oligarchic control via depopulation and use of environmental regulations to suppress democratic government.

Study. Learn.
