Contrast that to Dan Quayle who was forever stereotyped because he was relying on the spelling of a word as it was presented on the card given to him by the classroom teacher. And actually saying "potato" is spelled "potatoe" is probably not as bad an error as saying there are 57 States. I mean really. Think about it.
Dan Quayle couldn't pour piss out of a boot if instructions were printed on the heel.
