I have no problem with unions per se. What I do have a problem with is government coming down on their side.

For example: I think it's fine for a bunch of people at an automobile factory or set of factories saying "we're going to band together and form a union." But if they say, "We're not going to work unless we get what we want" I also think it's fine for the company to say, "Ok. We're just going to hire other people."

Government interfering with that process by saying, "no, you have to deal with the union people" is what's wrong.
