Accuracy.
Yep...it's only opinion. Just like comparing the US to North Korea.

Hell, who knew that internment camps were nothing but a figment of one's opinion?

Equivalent with North Korea? :?

The heroes of the 20th century US 'progressive' movement forcibly removed US citizens, herded them like cattle (or the Jews of Europe), were incarcerated in internment camps...against their will...illegally...in deplorable conditions. Not once...but twice...not only to Japanese Americans, but to Italians and Germans as well.

Not like North Korea (or Nazi Germany), not at all. :dunce:

Really? Where are they being detained, and why are they being detained?

Yes, you made a horrible analogy.

I can post pictures of the Japanese internment camps in the United States right next to pictures of concentration/death camps of Nazi Germany and you can't tell the difference between the two.
There is your analogy.

Because it is an imperialistic corporatist empire being ruled by the filthy rich and their special interests (I'm looking at you Big Oil) without regard to the poor, middle class, and the environment. Amirite?

I love seeing liberals make the same "different time, different culture" arguments for questionable acts** perpetrated by Democratic administrations. It sounds just like the way that Southerners like to make the very same argument about Lee, Jackson, and any other heroes of the South.

** BTW I don't have a problem with anything we did in WWII. Nothing. I'd bomb the shit out of Dresden, drop the bomb (twice) and intern all the Japanese again. Total war.

When you see Jane Fonda do the tomahawk chop at Braves games, it's time to throw down.

The March to the Sea was perfect. The Confederacy was such a bad idea.

But, many of the fires were started by the residents. Columbia, SC burned, likely, due to retreating Confederates.
