Another couple of things that that Iranian guy said that I've heard before and believe to be true:

1) When you try to compromise with Muslims, make concessions, do things to placate them, etc., they see that as weakness. You're not helping yourself or your cause by doing that. It's not going to make them like you or change their desire to subdue you.

2) Part of Muslim theology is that it's OK to lie to infidels in order to defeat them. They'll lie in a heartbeat to advance the cause of achieving a totally Islamic World under Sharia Law and look at that as the moral thing to do.

He said that there are "moderate" Muslims who try to fit in and don't want all that. But he said they don't know what Islam is, don't know what the Koran says, etc. The woman said that if you see a debate between "moderate" Muslims and hard liners the hard liners will always wipe the floor with the "moderates" because the hard liners have what the Koran actually says on their side.

Wish I would've either remembered or written down the names of the two former Muslims involved because I would like to look them up and read more of what they have to say.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

And what you are obviously missing is that I am using the same tactic as those who criticize Christianity. Funny how thin skinned you become when the crap you have been peddling is now turned on you.

I honestly am not bothered by your choice, just don't expect me to " turn the other cheek" and keep getting pummeled over and over for my beliefs.

As for me calling Atheism a religion, I did not do that. I was saying you are hiding behind Christianity by using it as a shield. The typical attack. Say what you want and when I reply in kind, I'm a bad Christian. Typical atheist tactic (Hitchen especially).
I didn't miss your tactic...I was pointing out the hypocrisy of it. I even spelled it out for you. Are you some special child that needs additional comprehension assistance or are you just stuck on stupid through an act of faith?

But you did get something (but only in partial context). You do recognize that you don't practice what you preach. That makes you the equivalent of a kleptomaniac complaining about people stealing things while admonishing those who point out that you are breaking the law.

As to your claim that I am, "hiding behind Christianity by using it as a shield," that is beyond silly and it makes no sense. You are obviously delusional and paranoid since you feel the need to spring into action to insult people who bring up legitimate questions (then again, questioning anything involving a fairy tale is legitimate) about religion.

Cripes, why don't you just get a gun and start shooting people who disagree with or question, aspects of your religion? Maybe you could team up with a Muslin and issue an interdenominational fatwa?

Now, gather your faith and spring forth with another knee jerk defense of yourself, under the guise of defending your all powerful, "Love me and you'll be among my fav peeps who'll enjoy everlasting peace...but f*ck those selfish pricks who don't love me (I mean, who couldn't love me), including the Joos (they made me look mean, angry, and bad in the prequel, so they won't be playing harps and eating bagels and lox when the curtain falls)" god.

Hey, your cheeks are red. You should try some mental yoga...maybe tai chi...to lower that blood pressure level.

Word processing programs are available to change some pronouns to "your posts" in order to make this post more pvssy friendly for the thin-skinned, PC audience.

Whew, finally woke up from that diatribe that put everyone to sleep. :blah:

Did you really just attack me multiple times (ad hominem) and then slam the God I believe in? Hmm, nuff said. You really do hide behind the shield of Christianity and it is patently obvious to anyone who reads your vitriol.

I turned the tables a little and you were, "Ready, Fire, Aim" with the atheist playbook of, "HYPOCRITE". Then you went right to step two with the personal attacks, followed by step three of attacking God.

Classic. :ohno:

A little newsflash for you. All Christians are hypocrites. It's a tough row to hoe when you say you believe in someone perfect and then fall on your face daily. You realize that little gem and I bet you will be much more happy with life.

As for you calling me a hypocrite for criticizing Chizzang, I will most readily admit I was harsh and owe him an apology. I missed his point and realize that, but it was no worse than an admonishment to a fellow Christian.

Excellent...you're already starting to apologize and realize that you are an azz.

Good boy!

The next step is for you to realize that you are incredibly self centered and paranoid. Your, "fall on your face daily" little gem (who falls on their face daily...seriously? :dunce: ) speaks volumes about you, your level of insecurity, and your need to try to validate yourself and your beliefs to others. You'd me a much happier person, and a better Christian, if you simply ignored your critics...but feel free to fail away your life. :thumb:

Wait, I must have popped out from behind my Muslin sword hiding place, and my Jooish bagels and lox hiding place, to now hide behind my secret S.H.E.I.L.D. of Christianity (starring Robert Downey Jr. as the smug JC, and Gwyneth Paltrow as the doting and mothering Virgin Mary).

LAHORE Pakistan (Reuters) - A 25-year-old woman was stoned to death by her family outside one of Pakistan's top courts on Tuesday in a so-called "honor" killing for marrying the man she loved, police said.

Iqbal had been engaged to her cousin but married another man

Even those that do result in a conviction may end with the killers walking free. Pakistani law allows a victim's family to forgive their killer.

I have a colleague whose Pakistani wife cannot go home or her family will kill her because she married a non-Muslim.
