It's a declassified document that was used as a fun training tool for emergency preparedness, but it's so detailed that it can probably be used for a "real" zombie apocalypse. It's a long but good read (it even mentions Chicken Zombies!); I'm fine with my taxes going towards this.

Good training aid that is not wasted money ... We have war plans for just about anything ... The good thing about them is they can be used for disaster aid too... A good plan simply gives everyone a common point of departure when the brown stuff hits the oscillating overhead mechanism...
