balanced bill amendment

Post by GrizFanStuckInUtah »

While looking through some of the 350+ new laws that go into affect today here in Utah, I was thinking.....

Shouldn't we pass a balanced bill amendment that requires the legislators to to keep the number of laws on the books the same? I mean, there has to be 350+ stupid laws that don't need to be there if they passed 350+....... :coffee:

I contend that the objective should be a deficit bill amendment. For every pig-finding-an-acorn moment when a legislature passes a "good" bill, at least two worthless and/or logrolling, pork-filled laws should be repealed.
