Stone Brewery branching out to the EC(b)

Sorry...Stone sucks. I might have had 1 of their beers that was decent. They should move the entire plant to the EC(b).

Stone makes some good beer.

Can't think of any good breweries that added another location and maintained their good brew. Don't even think it Flaggy.

Yuengling is a good example. Bought Stroh's in Tampa but the beer doesn't taste anything like the original Vitamin Y from PA.

To produce consistent quality, the process has to be detailed. The ingredients have to be very similar, if not the same. And the quality control has to be vigorous. That can be very expensive.

Hell, it's hard enough to make one batch taste like the previous one at the same brewery.

Yeungling is a step from the usual in Tampa...... I'll stop by the convenience store on the way home from work in the east bay and yeungling is the best beer there.

Still, some quality brews in Tampa, cigar city is top notch and I suspect they will go national. Jai alai is world class according to beer advocate, their brown is great brew as well.

I've had Cigar City when I was in FLA. Not bad as I recall. Cans, correct?
