I'm not a hypocrite. In fact, I am very consistent. I don't think it is the government's responsibility to set wages or force profit sharing (the two themes in the two threads you referenced). I also don't think it is the government's responsibility to force people to purchase health insurance.

I believe people shouldn't eat processed foods...but if they want to eat crappy foods, then so be it. McD's can serve a person a double cheeseburger for a dollar. Toss down a water (free) and side of apple slices and you have a cheap meal for the elderly and the poor. Not sure why you want to take that away and make someone pay $12 for their meal.

You see, I believe people should be allowed to fail. And I don't expect people to feel sorry for anyone else - YOU conjured that one up. I simply expect people like you to realize that you consistently come up with a recommended solution without bothering to think about the impact of your decision on others, despite you believing that we should think about our impact on others.

And that is a great segue to brining this full circle...you are a hypocrite.
