Then there was Todd Christie, the Governor’s brother, who in 2008 agreed to a settlement of civil charges by the Securities and Exchange Commission in which he acknowledged making “hundreds of trades in which customers had been systematically overcharged.” (Todd also oversaw a family foundation whose activities and purpose raised eyebrows among the vetters.) And all that was on top of a litany of glaring matters that sparked concern on Myers’ team: Christie’s other lobbying clients, his investments overseas, the YouTube clips that helped make him a star but might call into doubt his presidential temperament, and the status of his health.

I did. I thought the part AZ pasted on the overspending of accounts, relative to other AG's, to be pretty minor. The part about Bernie Madoff was the same as well - plenty of people before and after Christie didn't catch Madoff, and in the end, Madoff was the only one who "caught" Madoff when he fessed up. And the part about Christie's brother I thought was minor as well - we're not voting for his family to take office, so why the concern with his brother? Obviously, lobbyists are going to be part of government (there is good lobbying you realize, not all lobbying is evil) so that will be the case with any politician. I didn't think there was enough tangible stuff in that article to really stick that will hurt Christie in an election.
