Democrats are such intellectually dishonest slugs. I mean as a group. I realize that there are honest individuals. But this whole thing an acting like requiring that someone be able to reasonably demonstrate that they are who they say they are before voting is a total crock. There are all sorts of procedures that could be employed to make sure nobody is disenfranchised if they don't want to be.

You know, the right to keep and bear arms is explicitly stated in the Constitution and Democrats sure as heck don't have any problem with making sure people can show who they say they are in order to acquire a gun. In fact they don't have any problem with making them pass a detailed background check. Really, a lot of them don't have any problem with denying them the right altogether.

There isn't even an explicitly stated right to vote IN the Constitution. But they act like it's THE END OF THE WORLD if someone is simply asked to bring a free ID issued by the State in order to vote. Bottom line is what it comes down to is they know voter fraud exists and they know it works to their advantage. So they want to keep things open to doing it.

I don't think it's nearly the problem that some would have you believe, but I think voter photo ID is a good idea - as long as the ID's are free and there is enough time for everybody to get one.
