On the heels of news that Attorney General Eric Holder and the DOJ will not give George Zimmerman his gun back anytime soon, the Buckeye Firearms Foundation is raising funds to buy Zimmerman a new one.
The Foundation posted the following on their website:
Regardless of what you think of the Zimmerman verdict, we are a nation of laws, not mob justice.
George Zimmerman was tried in a court of law and found NOT GUILTY. And that entitles him to continue exercising all his rights, including his Second Amendment right to own a firearm.'
They then explained how "outrageous" it is that Holder refuses to give Zimmerman back his gun, adding:
If Eric Holder chooses to deny Mr. Zimmerman [the right to own a gun], Buckeye Firearms Foundation will remedy the matter by purchasing a new firearm for him, including a holster, flashlight, and any other gear he wants.
This is about more than mere principle--Zimmerman and his family now face daily threats against their lives. More than ever he has a right to defend himself against those who would seek to do him harm.
Buckeye Firearms Foundation is accepting donations for Zimmerman's new gun on their website. You can access it by clicking HERE."

No...I would have the same feelings about it if the roles were reversed. Trayvon would have every right to shoot Zimm if the roles were reversed.
Self-defense.
Zimm should have just walked away but didn't. It is a tragedy all around but it was self defense for Zimm IMO and the jury felt the same way.

Family Zimmerman rescued after crash terrified they will become targets for hate mobs
Daily Mail ^ | July 23, 2013 | Paul Thompson
The family rescued by George Zimmerman after a rollover crash in Florida are terrified they will become targets for hate mobs who have made death threats to the neighborhood vigilante.
Mark and Dana Michelle Gerstle told friends they do not want to talk publicly about Zimmerman for fear they will be accused of portraying him as a hero - and face a backlash from those who consider he got away with murder.
'They are very grateful to Zimmerman for what he did, but they do not want to get involved,' said a friend, who asked not to be named.
'There is so much hatred directed towards him they have got to think about their own family. There are a lot of crazies out there. If they say anything in support of him it could backfire.'
The neighborhood watch volunteer, who to many is the most hated man in America after being acquitted of the murder of Trayvon Martin, helped save the family after a terrifying crash.
Zimmerman pulled the Gerstles' and their two young children from their SUV after it rolled over in Sanford, Florida near the busy I-4 motorway.

Result of this civil war would be almost identical to last one but much quicker. People like dal would be killed or surrender within days.

That POS Kel-Tech pistol he plinked Travon with costs $275 shipped. Methinks that fund is a total racket. I know you mean well, but that fund's probably going to pull in $100K+ to supposedly replace a $275 pistol. I hope they at least use the excess to pay for security.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:I'm in93henfan wrote:This country needs another civil war.
