For the most part, these are all blue states, which means that there won't be any shotgun marriages.dbackjon wrote:Congrats Rhode Island for taking a stand for equality - Gay Marriage is now legal!! First weddings can start August 1st.

The Delaware House passed a gay marriage bill that will be voted on in the Senate sometime next week, Gov. Markell has already said he will sign it.

Yes - hoping they will be #11.
Illinois and Minnesota have decent chances of passing this year as well.

Hopefully Virginia, and the whole of the US aren't too far behind. Come on SCOTUS!

Note that the states passing the legislation are states losing Congressional seats, thus not growing near the rate of states that are not passing the legislation...
Just an observation...

If Delaware lost any, it would be a non-state.Col Hogan wrote:Note that the states passing the legislation are states losing Congressional seats, thus not growing near the rate of states that are not passing the legislation...

Sure, Virginia may be foreign muslin terrorist burial-friendly, but there's no way we'll stand for that gay marriage bullshit. Gotta draw the line somewhere, right?∞∞∞ wrote:![]()
