In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

They're not the same. Don't make that mistake. Neither may be what you want but they are not the same.

You're talking about, for example, the difference between nominating somebody like Robert Bork to the Supreme Court and nominating somebody like Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

In this instance, if we'd elected Romney and also elected a majority of Republicans to the Senate and House, Obamacare would be repealed. Absolutely no doubt about it. And whether Obamacare persists or not is a huge difference.

Don't kid yourself. It may be that it would be nice to have other realistic options. But which of the two major parties holds sway does matter with respect to the direction of the country. Don't fall into the cliche trap set by those who parrot the line that it doesn't.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Meh...
The affordable Healthcare Act will be modified / revised / overhauled a dozen times in the next ten years, so as far as I'm concerned it's not as big of a deal as the GOP spins it up to be

Next:
Both Obama and Romney are completely beholden to Wall Street and our present financial system

The supreme court justices only tend to last on average about 15 maybe 20 years...
and they are a reflection of the country more than the president
as much as that is going to annoy you - it's not that big of a deal - unless you have a personal agenda, which of course you do... You'd like Jimmy Swaggert to be a Justice

But frankly I don't care who the Justices are...
and the people who do care (I've noticed) tend to be either gay or fundamentalist - which is also kind of the same thing actually
