I see you posting all these anti-police threads and now you are complaining that JoePa didn't go to those same police. Guess it's easy to do in Obama's America, a place where you can take the popular side when it's convenient

But I agee with you on the fact that JoePa should have went to the police immediately.

He did the right thing initially, from both a legal and moral perspective. It wasn't until the matter got into the hand of Curley, Schultz and Spanier that there was a coverup.

I haven't been complaining on this board about JoePa not going to the police but as a general matter I don't think it's inconsistent to complain about the police and at the same time say that there are cases in which something should be reported to the police.

I view the police as a necessary evil. But they are necessary. And there are obviously cases in which it's good to report something to them.

Like if some kid was kidnapped and you saw the kid with the kidnapper staying in a hotel, obviously it'd be good to report that to the police even if you can think of plenty of instances in which the police acted in manner that you don't approve of.
