A lot of employers kick in more than my employer does. Because my employer is the gubmint I take heat for it. It's not like my paycheck is welfare. I provide a service for my wages. Unlike many gubmint employees, I show up early, stay late, and don't cry for OT. I am the exception. Don't get me wrong, we have some shitheads, but most of them are baby boomers that just need to **** retire, but they can't because they took $50k loans on their now upside down homes.

I have a high-deductible plan with HSA. I pay nothing for the plan (work picks up 100% for employees).
$2,600 deductible, so everything to that point comes from my pocket (prescriptions at basically full rate, etc). Company contributes $50/paycheck to HSA, so for a year, they will contribute $1,250 to my HSA.

And we would all be better served if all government workers came in drunk. That way they would only cost us their salaries as opposed to "working" to devise new ways to spend the taxpayers money.

Flipping houses with repairs in the middle. Fun times and lots o' money. Not millions but plenty. I'm not greedy. Couldn't do it today as the real estate market is terrible. Ultimately got into buying property and building 2 houses where one used to stand. Kept some of the houses for rental income. Worked hard and when we though we had enough we quit.

Cool. I appraised real estate and sold mortgage. Got out in January 2007 and never looked back.
