I would have been embarrassed to be in that audience last night.
Or the previous debate where some people literally booed RP for suggesting the golden rule when it comes to foreign policy. :ohno: evidently the non christian/interventionist wing of the party.

I've got to vote tomorrow and I'm still undecided. Normally someone would jump out by now, but for every thing I find interesting about a candidate I can find an equal negative offset. It's pretty sad.
That's G8's Third Law of Political Motion: For every positive, there is an equal and opposite negative!

Maybe an apple will hit me in the head to help me clarify the right candidate. ;)

Yeah, a sad display once again. I cringe when I hear Republicans talk about "conservatism." They have no idea what it is.

I'll say it before and I'll say it again: I can't understand how my friend Bill White. a pro-business Clinton Democrat and successful mayor of Houston, ever lost to that guy. I guess Texas Democrats have some work to do.

There are many types of conservatism ...
- social conservatism: traditional family values, no gay marriage, pro-life, etc.
- fiscal conservatism: a smaller government that operates within its means.
- historical conservatism: let's go back to the good ole days of Donna Reed and Leave It To Beaver

What I don't understand is how neo-conservatism is actually considered conservative. What's conservative about nation-building and intervention in other countries' affairs? What's conservative about cutting taxes while fighting 2 wars and running up huge deficits?
Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Thank you for your attention to this matter - UNI88

I disagree on social conservatism. These people prop up Freedom of (from) religion, but want to make sure everyone else in the country follows their lead. All jokes about Gingrich aside, there's nothing conservative about pushing your morality onto someone else through the use of legislation. I say this admitting I'm a follower of Christ, while recognizing others think differently.
