Ron Paul Stands Ground
Just watched Ron Paul on "Special Report with Bret Aier" on Fox News. Have to give him credit for the way he stood his ground. That Charles Krautheimer or however you spell it guy was on there. Paul had a rationale for everything. They couldn't trip him up. He didn't hesitate. He didn't equivocate. He always had answers. Straightforward answers that weren't "politician speak." Not that crap of having some pre-established message and trying to answer every question with something else. I was impressed. You might disagree with him, but you can't say he doesn't have reasonable basis for his positions.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?
Deep Purple: No One Came

Could I ever be a star?

Attitudes like this are why I subscribe to the Carlin school of political thought:Ivytalk wrote:And Ron Paul has a nice summer home in Roswell, NM. Right next to expandspanos.
