In those instances, however, rather than starting a "They's batshit crazy thread...", Dem apparatchik generally shreik with feigned hysteria about the inappropriateness of the interviewer/question.
Example?

I can't think of a Dem walking offset after being upset with questions.

Well you did follow directions, I'll give you that.

Refusing to talk about his kids is entirely different however than refusing to talk about outspoken political issues, or the content of a book which you're on TV to sell

No doubt you can find examples on both sides of the aisle of people not cooperating during interviews.

The fact is: neither party has the moral high ground when it comes to this sort of thing. Arguing policy is one thing, but trying to argue that one party behaves better than the other is silly.

It's also silly to play the "liberal media" boogieman card here. People choose where they get their news from. It's not as if there aren't conservative media outlets out there. The only people who hear what the "liberal media" has to say are people who choose to.

Christine O'Donnell is a kook. Blaming the "liberal media" is just a lame excuse by people trying to defend her actions.

+1

I can't profess my point any better. So I'll just leave it at that.
