What makes you think that?

Situations in Iraq and Affy would probably still be similar. Unfortunately McCain would have also gone into Libya, but he did crticize Obama for waiting too long, as Obama dithered to come up with a plan, then punted to the UN, with no final objective or exit strategy. 4 months later, and nothing has been achieved.

Ok, so that's 3 I guess you could call fronts. What are the other 4?

And Obama is leadership material?

As I said above, I'm now thinking maybe McCain could have been as bad as Obama, which I know, is pretty bad. But I don't think he could have been worse. After all, at least McCain had military & exec leadership experience, which Obama had none of. You voted for Obama thinking Obama would be better? Silly.
Obama at least had the potential to inspire people and bring them along. Just because he has apparently chosen not to do that as President does not mean that he didn't have the potential. McCain never had that potential. For all of McCain's experience, we've known for years he didn't have the potential. Obama, for better or for worse (leaning towards the latter now) was more of a blank slate (no pun intended).

John McCain showed leadership ability while obama's daddy was chucking spears in africa.

the only decision obabma has ever had to make is how much hot sauce he wants on his fried chicken and how much watermelon to wash it down with.

so you don't think that Obama believes in America?
No. He apologizes for US rather than being an apologist for USA.

Graduated last in a class that only admitted him because his daddy was an admiral. Lost several aircraft that he only got to fly because his daddy was an admiral. A laughingstock at Annapolis..........yeah, you take a natural talent like that and let the North Vietnamese kick him in the head on a daily basis for a few years you got yourself some real presidential material.

I hear him and Kerry swap wives.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

And don't forget to mention who his running mate was.

Our local resident shills provide tons of laughs on here with broad statements about how "anybody" can beat Obama in 1012, and how "anybody" would be better, or how McCain/Palin would be better, and how this is the worst president ever, yada, yada, yada.

You only have to go back to the last president, remember the one who reduced revenues while upping spending, who started a war with a country that had nothing to do with the terror attacks that were the excuse for starting the war, who could not even read a teleprompter, or speak the English language, who reigned over the time of the largest shift of wealth in our nation's history, who left office with the eminent threat of a full blown depression bearing down on us and the world.

Conks!

C'mon Wedge, they're not saying Bush was better.

Btw, how many current congressional conks voted to raise the debt ceiling in the past and how many times? How many voted for spending increases and revenue reductions? This could be a great research project for BDJ.

But remember, according to TTBF, nobody cares about the deficit and it's NOT a political election item of concern for anyone. :coffee:

The deficit isn't nearly as important as the unemployment rate and/or our trade imbalance. :coffee:

He's not running for the Presidency, so the media can now start loving him instead of vilifying him.
